About Joshua
I have been programming for over 10 years in total, 5 years professionally. My first job was programming mobile games using Unity. It wasn't long before I grew tired of the tools I was using and wanted to learn how to make them myself. This led me to learn how to make my own game engines and 3D renderers. Now I work at EA Sports as an engine/graphics programmer. I've learned a lot of lessons over the years that I think are largely ignored by most traditional programming education and would love the opportunity to relay that knowledge to people.

Learn the foundations of how computers work at a deep level and the concepts that are universal to all kinds of programming.
We will start by writing small programs to build up your intuition for how to think like a computer. Eventually we will get into more complicated topics such as memory-management, data structures, and complex software architecture.
Everything we do will be using the C programming language which gives you maximum control over the computer, teaching you skills that transfer to every other programming language.
