About Aliza
I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at university and have a strong interest in helping students succeed in their studies. I enjoy tutoring because it is rewarding to see students finally understand topics they were previously struggling with and gain confidence in their abilities.
I also regularly help my younger siblings with their schoolwork, which has helped me develop patience and the ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple and clear way. My goal is to support students, build their confidence, and help them achieve the best results possible in their exams.

My lessons are structured and tailored to the GCSE biology specification to ensure students fully understand the content required for exams. I create clear lesson plans that focus on teaching key concepts, working through exam-style questions, and developing deeper understanding through further thinking questions.
At the end of each lesson, students receive homework to reinforce what they have learnt. After completing each section of the specification, I provide a short assessment to track progress and identify areas that need improvement.
I currently tutor a Year 11 student in GCSE Biology who improved from a U to a Grade 5 within one month. My aim is to build confidence, strengthen exam technique, and help students achieve the best possible results.
