About Shanni

I’m a dedicated tutor offering online lessons in Maths and Further Maths from Primary through to A-Level. My goal is to make lessons clear, engaging, and tailored to each student, building confidence as well as strong exam technique.

My lessons are structured but interactive, with plenty of worked examples and opportunities for students to practise independently. I use past papers and targeted exercises to prepare students effectively for exams, focusing on understanding as well as accuracy. In terms of lesson timings I am always flexible of when we do them and understanding.

I specialise in A-Level Maths and Further Maths and have in-depth knowledge of both AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I am currently studying for a degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Southampton, which gives me a strong mathematical background and insight into how these skills are applied beyond school.

I also bring two years of freelance tutoring experience, supporting students from primary school to sixth form. This has given me the chance to adapt to different learning styles and help a wide range of students achieve their goals.

Whether you’re looking to build strong foundations at primary, improve grades at GCSE, or excel at A-Level, I can guide you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My main focus will be on making sure that we go at a pace comfortable for the student and cover as much of the syllabus in a timely fashion. I will give weekly HW and be open to any questions all the time via email or WhatsApp. I do not teach during Holidays season as I believe students need time to do other things apart from studying to maintain a healthy mind and life. Mainly teach during the afternoons or weekends. The first lesson will be covering what the course is and how I will teach you. The rest of it will be to test how I teach and if the student is understanding me properly. First lesson Free. From then onwards we would begin our journey into making you understand Maths and enjoy every step of it up to your GCSE exams.
