My name is Lukas and I'm currently studying at the University of Sheffield. I have a particular interest in the Corporate world, and hope to become a Corporate Lawyer in the future. I achieved 2 A's and a B at A-Levels (Law, Business & Psychology).

My learning approach is different for each student - no two people are the same! However, my lessons usually follow the structure of :
INTRODUCTION / RECAP :
>>> If it is our first lesson together, I take the first 5 minutes to get to know the student - and to let the student get to know me! A student has to be comfortable in order to learn at their best. If this isn't our first time together, then the lesson will begin with a short 5 minute recap on the previous lesson's content (e.g. : True or False Quiz).
MAIN CONTENT :
>>> The main bulk of the lesson will revolve around the content you request the student is tutored on. I ensure the content remains engaging by questioning the student on what we have just discussed / learnt. For example, I may ask the student to do a 'fill in the blank' task, or ask them to create a small summary for themselves to use for revision. There is a particular focus on exam technique in my lessons, so I always make sure to link the content back to how it may appear in the exam!
CONCLUSION :
>>> At the end of the lesson, I draw back on the learning objectives outlined in the introduction and how we have worked towards those objectives in the lesson. Depending on the subject / topic, I may advise the student on what they can do outside of the tutoring to further their own learning (e.g. : Provide an example exam question to complete). Finally, I provide a small snippet on what we will work towards in the next lesson.
