About Farah
Hi! I’m a Year 13 student studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths, with a real passion for science and maths. I achieved Grade 9s in GCSE Maths and Chemistry and am currently predicted A*s in both.
Alongside my studies, I’ve taken part in STEM programmes and research experiences through Cambridge and Oxford, as well as a STEM work placement at the University of Derby. I’ve also been recognised as a Science Superstar by my school’s Science Department.
I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping other students understand things that they may initially find difficult. Having recently been a GCSE student myself, I know how important it is to have someone who can explain things clearly and make learning feel less stressful. I’m friendly, approachable and would love to help students become more confident and reach their potential.

I was once a GCSE student too, so I understand the challenges students face and the pressure that can come with exams. Having achieved a Grade 9 in both Maths and Chemistry and currently predicted an A* in both at A level, I’ve developed effective ways of learning that helped me succeed at GCSE.
My lessons are friendly, relaxed and tailored to each student. I focus on making difficult topics easier to understand, building confidence and developing good exam technique rather than simply memorising content. I’ve also gained experience tutoring students at my school, particularly in the run-up to exams.
As I’m still a student myself, I understand what works from a student’s perspective and aim to make every lesson approachable and enjoyable.
