There are two types of learning in biology; pure memorization, and understanding how concepts connect and fit in with each other. I will help with both, as the first is necessary for early learning and good grades, and the second is necessary for tougher application questions and future courses. I teach with mnemonics, drawings/diagrams and make my own questions for you to answer.
I am a 4th year undergraduate student at Western University doing an Honors BSc. in Genetics with two years tutoring experience. I can help with basic biological concepts to more advanced topics. I can teach and explain from a textbook, and if needed, from new research papers (for older students!)
