About Bernadette

I am passionate about geology and its' place in science and society. I am a strong believer that no classroom or lecture can replace time in the field and seeing things first hand, but as a passionate outdoorsy type I will do my best to transfer some of the things I've learned in my field work over to you!

About the lesson

I am a geologist currently working in the mining industry, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mineral Geoscience from the University of Adelaide. I have had teaching experience through my other passion, music, where I have taught children from ages 10-17 in both 1-on-1 and in group settings.

I offer online teaching, in 60 minute blocks. I hope to share my knowledge of the field, as well as provide a space where students can ask questions and tackle school or university specific topics. Structural geology, sedimentology and palaeontology are my main subjects of interest.
First lesson is free, to identify areas where students would like assistance.
