About Israel

I have been teaching English and Portuguese for 10 years. I work with students of all ages, starting from children aged 8, to teenagers and adults. I also have experience teaching online. In Brazil, I've got a Bachelor's degree in Languages. I know that learning a second language takes dedication and a good attitude. I always put myself in my student’s shoes and I strive to bring a positive attitude to my classes.

About the lesson

Oi! My name is Israel, it is nice to meet you! If complicated grammar points are not your cup of tea, don't worry! We can start by adopting a conversational approach to get you speaking Portuguese as quickly as possible. I use instructional material in a variety of interactive formats such as music, videos, and games to make lessons fun and engaging. Classes will focus on your language needs and your personal learning goals tailored to your unique personal circumstances.

Perfect! I can’t imagine there is a better teacher than Israel. He is perfect. I am a primary school teacher myself & have done Irish grinds, & I practice & value the student cantered teaching Israel does.
I had been self learning Portuguese for approx 9 months as my girlfriend is Brazilian. Israel quickly assessed my level of Portuguese and was able to begin my education from that point. He teaches with the slides & it’s very explicit & therefore efficient. He also makes you do many examples of the work you are doing. The stories/reading comprehension are also fun. Indeed the lessons are never boring. Homework is also very consolidating of the days work.
Finally I must say Israel is a lovely guy.
I have had 3 lessons so far I will continue for as long as I can.
His teaching is perfect. There could not be better. Manus
