About Elise

Spanish became my favorite subject when I was in the 8th grade. I moved from a school that did not focus on language to a school that prioritized it. When I started I could barely count to ten, but by the end of the school year I was speaking at a conversational level!

This passion led me to pursuing a degree in the language, and I am soon graduating with a minor in Spanish Language and Linguistics. I've aced every Spanish class I've taken in college, and I want you to ace yours too!

While I'm no expert, I know my way around the language and hope to make learning and speaking it a fun adventure for you. Tutoring will not only help you to understand your classwork, but will help me to review and hone my skills.

About the lesson

If you're having trouble with your classwork or need a little extra time dedicated to learning the Spanish language, hit me up!

I can help the most with middle and high school level Spanish (levels 1-5) or as a conversation partner for high schoolers and college students.

Spanish became my favorite subject in school after starting with no knowledge, and if we work together we can make it yours too (or at least a little more enjoyable!).

I take a collaborative approach to tutoring Spanish. The language is formulaic, and I believe that once you have those formulas down, you'll be impressing your teachers in no time.

Our ideal session would start with focussing on your current class lessons, and figuring out the source of your difficulties. From there, I will either try to reteach you the lesson in an easier way, or help you work through classwork in a way that works best for you.
