About Teagan
"Struggling to get your fingers around a clean power chord is a common hurdle. Imagine finally playing your favorite song without losing your spot. We work on reading sheet music and tuning and maintenance in a simple way. My 13 years of gigging inform how I teach technique.

"A Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University is where my formal training began. I am a musician first.
Having taught 334 students, I know how to explain electric or acoustic technique clearly. My 13 years of experience in the Montreal folk scene means I have seen it all, from broken strings to stage fright. I spend my time helping self-taught players find the structure they missed.
It is rewarding to see someone finally nail those difficult barre chords. I find teaching chord transitions and ear training genuinely fun. Most of my students are teens or those focused on performance."
