About Chlöe

My name is Chlöe, and I'm a senior in high school with a 5.0 GPA. Math has always been a subject I'm genuinely passionate about — not just as something to get through, but as a skill that builds real confidence when you understand it deeply.

My AP Precalculus exam was selected as an example of a perfect score, which reflects the standard I hold myself to both as a student and as a tutor. I have experience helping students throughout high school, and I know how to meet each person where they are — whether they're just starting to feel lost or are pushing for a top grade.

I take tutoring seriously. I show up prepared, I communicate clearly, and I genuinely care about whether my students improve. Parents and students can expect someone who is professional, reliable, and invested in their success — not just someone filling an hour.

Outside of math, I bring the same focus and discipline to everything I do, which is reflected in my academic record. I understand the pressure that comes with rigorous courses like AP Precalculus and AP Calculus AB, and I use that understanding to make sessions as productive and stress-free as possible.

About the lesson

Most math tutors re-explain the textbook. I don't. I figure out exactly where your understanding breaks down and fix it there. My approach I adapt to how you think. Some students need the "why" behind a formula before it sticks. Others need repetition with real-time correction. Some just need someone patient enough to try a third explanation when the first two don't land. I find what works for you specifically — and I know these courses inside out, having just taken them myself with a perfect AP Precalc score.

A typical session
We open by reviewing what felt uncertain since last time. Then we tackle the current topic together — I explain, you attempt, I watch closely and catch exactly where things go sideways. We close with test-style practice problems so you're never surprised on exam day. Before you leave, I give you one clear, specific focus to work on so progress doesn't stop between sessions.
