About Medhansh

I just finished Grade 11 (moving into Grade 12 this September). I'm a CS student at heart, deeply into problem-solving and logical thinking. Despite being a Grade 11 student, I earned my school's Euclid and Hypatia medals with Distinction, outperforming Grade 12 students. I was also ranked 1st in my school for Avogadro and Chem 13, hold a 99% average in Functions and Advanced Functions, and have been named Student of the Month five times

About the lesson

I teach on 4 conceptual pillars:

1) Context of the concept – Every new concept is introduced with the need for it: why it exists, how problems were being solved without it, and how it makes the math and intuition easier.

2)Core concept – The concept is taught from the ground up, from the basics to Olympiad-level intuition.

3)Guided practice – Worksheets and guided questions to cement the foundation and build intuition.

4)Testing – Concepts are tested through micro-tests on individual topics and macro-tests on clustered topics, with multi-conceptual problems building a foundation for the tricky, intuition-based questions seen in Euclid and Hypatia.

If a student religiously follows these principles under my guidance, they would be able to solve multi-conceptual, tricky problems like the ones seen primarily in Euclid and Hypatia and even the toughest high school exams.
