About Anna

Hi! I’m Anna, a 14-year-old student who’s passionate about both academics and music. I have won my school spelling bee, and also qualified for the national spelling bee. I’ve been playing piano for 8 years, and I’m also a Grade 8 drummer. Music is my biggest passion, and I love sharing it with others—especially younger kids who are just starting their musical journey. In addition to my music skills, I’m really strong in math, English, and science, and I believe that learning should be fun, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I specialize in teaching beginner drummers and beginner pianists, focusing on rhythm, technique, and building confidence. My lessons are designed to be engaging and motivating, whether we’re working on a new piano piece or learning basic drumming beats. I also speak Chinese, so I can help students who are more comfortable with that language. I’m excited to work with you and help you develop your skills in a fun, positive, and supportive environment!

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Anna, a 13-year-old drummer with Grade 8 drumming experience. In my drumming lessons, I focus on teaching young beginners the basics of the drum set in a fun and engaging way. My lessons are perfect for kids who are just starting out or want to improve their basic skills. We’ll cover essential techniques like rhythm, beats, and coordination, while making sure the lessons stay exciting and motivating. Each lesson lasts 30-45 minutes, which helps younger kids stay focused and energized. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level, ensuring that they progress at their own pace. I’m passionate about drumming and love introducing kids to the world of music, helping them develop confidence as they learn!
