About Sabiyah
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with a strong commitment to helping students succeed. Having worked closely with secondary school students, I understand the challenges they face and how to adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles and abilities.
I take pride in being reliable, professional, and approachable, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
I have a proven record of helping students achieve significant improvements in their grades for maths, including supporting a student in progressing from a Grade 4 to a Grade 7 in just two months. I tailor every lesson to the individual student, focusing on building understanding, confidence, and strong exam technique. I explain difficult topics in a clear and simple way, using worked examples and targeted practice to help students make rapid and lasting progress.
Lessons are usually 1-2 hours long, which provides enough time to learn new content, practise key skills, and address any areas of difficulty.
I have experience helping students achieve significant improvements in a short period of time. For example, I helped one student improve from a Grade 4 to a Grade 7 in just two months through focused, personalised support.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students of all abilities, whether they need extra help with challenging topics or are aiming to achieve the highest grades in their exams.
