About Ellie

Hello, I am Ellie, a 19 year old, London based singer and performer. I have been a part of choirs, ensembles in musicals, and bands. However, I also love to sing solo in which I have sung opera and classical songs, musical theatre songs (legit and contemporary), jazz, pop, and more! I have achieved many high outcomes in my qualifications in singing through many different boards including: LCM, and ABRSM and more. Additionally, I have trained and studied under renowned teachers and institutions and I would love to share what I learned with you. I am a graduate of ArtsEd and I am heading to Oxford School of Drama in late September to train further. I believe that my background in acting can also help with singing as I believe in all genres, there is a vital position of storytelling. My background in Acting is reaffirmed by qualifications achieved from LAMDA, and my study of acting and theatre. About the lesson

Hi! I'm Ellie Wyatt. I have a strong passion for singing in multiple different styles. I have trained in jazz, classical/operatic, musical theatre, pop and more! I have achieved qualifications from ABRSM, LCM and have been to many workshops and studied and practised singing for many years. My lessons are perfect for you whether you're looking to get into doing singing more professionally, to get into your dream music college, or just for fun. I will make sure to help you achieve and go above and beyond your goals and dreams whilst having the best time possible during lesson time. Lessons can range from anywhere from 30 mins to 60 mins on average. Whilst, I am happy to complete lessons that are longer or shorter, I believe this is the best time range but I am happy to discuss. Lessons are suitable for anyone of any age or level. During a lesson we will usually follow this order of steps but it definitely sometimes changes: -Discuss student's vocal style and genre they like -Warm up/Vocal exercises (general vocal exercises that keep the voice safe and healthy whilst singing any song) -Discuss song choice -Warm up/Vocal exercises (tailored to song) -Sing-through song (to see what to work on) -Slowly walk through and help the student through the song with different approaches (working on vowel placement and any issues that might come up) -One last sing through -Warm down (this keeps the voice healthy and safe from injuries) At the end of the lesson, I will usually set a "homework". It is usually a fun and easy homework yet sparks improvement quicker in between lessons. Additionally, I am easy to chat to between lessons for any queries or help. This homework can be anything from some vocal exercises, listening to a new song that would be good for their rep folder, or listening to a famous singer.
