About Samrah
I've always been passionate about teaching and I believe that a student who challenges me the most, needs me the most. Keeping this belief in mind teaching then becomes an enjoyable experience for me.
I always try to make lesson plans come alive by making them as engaging as possible. Also i set the expectations just right. Raising the expectations too high can be frustrating for my students and at the same time keeping the bar too low can also take away their confidence to take on a new challenge.
I think out of the box for my students to accommodate their different and unique learning styles

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve been acknowledged for designing and implementing interactive lessons by employing manipulatives and IEPs to target the individual needs of children. I've seen students thrive when the teaching and their surroundings are highly structured due to which I often choose TEACCH program to deliver my lessons. The key idea is to teach children in a way that makes the most of their strengths and works around their areas of difficulty and I believe that TEACCH makes it successful.
I'm also founder of an online awareness project named "autism splash". Through this platform I share my teaching strategies with everyone, specially parents to empower them as i believe that parents are an integral part of a child's learning process.
