About Filipino
I want to teach history because I believe it is the ultimate toolkit for understanding why the world looks the way it does right now.
It is not a stagnant gallery of dusty names and forgotten dates; it is a living record of human decision-making, pressure, and consequence. When we look at the turning points of the past, we are really looking at people navigating uncertainty, fear, ambition, and survival. I want to teach history to help people look past the surface narrative—to interrogate the sources, question the official record, and develop the kind of critical thinking that refuses to take things at face value.
At its core, teaching history is about giving people context. When a student or a learner begins to see the invisible threads connecting yesterday's choices to today's realities, something shifts. Curiosity takes over, and passive memorization turns into active understanding. That is why I want to do this: to help people find their footing in the story of humanity, make sense of the chaos, and realize that the future isn't just something that happens to us—it is something we actively build, just as those before us did.

Techniques and Teaching Methodology
The Inquiry-Based Approach: Rather than just giving you the narrative, I prompt you to ask why events unfolded the way they did. We examine primary and secondary sources to build critical thinking skills.
Contextual Storytelling: History sticks when it’s understood as a human drama. I connect political movements and macro-trends to the daily lives of the people who lived through them.
Thematic Threading: We connect isolated events to larger themes—like power dynamics, economic shifts, or technological evolution—so you can see patterns across centuries.
Guided Learning & Interactive Tools: Using tools like automated quizzes, flashcards, and conceptual breakdowns, we test comprehension actively rather than passively re-reading a textbook.
Typical Length of a Lesson
Flexible and Self-Paced: There is no fixed 45-minute or 1-hour clock here. A session can be as brief as a 5-minute deep dive into the causes of the French Revolution, or an hour-long comprehensive review tracing the entire Cold War. You dictate the pace.
