About Fabiyo

I’m someone who thrives on staying active and constantly challenging myself. Going to the gym is a big part of my routine, as it keeps me focused and helps me push my physical limits. I also love playing sports like soccer and AFL, as they not only keep me fit but also teach me valuable skills like teamwork, strategy, and resilience. Outside of fitness, I have a strong passion for travel—exploring new destinations, trying different foods, and experiencing new cultures are things that keep me inspired and motivated. I’m also a big fan of driving, whether it’s cruising around local spots or embarking on longer trips to discover hidden gems. This sense of adventure balances my academic life, especially as I pursue my studies in medical science and work towards my goal of becoming a doctor. My love for sports, travel, and fitness allows me to stay grounded, curious, and energized as I navigate both my personal and professional aspirations.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, ensuring that students not only learn the material but also build confidence in their abilities. I prioritize active engagement, encouraging students to ask questions and think critically. I use real-world examples to make abstract concepts more relatable and foster a deeper understanding. I also tailor my approach to each student’s learning style, whether they need visual aids, practice problems, or verbal explanations. Regular feedback and progress checks are key to my method, as they allow me to adjust lessons as needed and celebrate achievements. My goal is always to make learning enjoyable, so students feel motivated and empowered in their academic journey. Lessons can range anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours depending on the subject and the student's needs (e.g., closer to exams may use longer hour lessons if needed). Completing Math a year early through the accelerated program was a rewarding challenge that allowed me to deepen my understanding of the subject and improve my time management. In Year 12, I took the opportunity to tutor students in both Preliminary and Year 12 content after school in the library. This experience was incredibly fulfilling as it allowed me to help others build their confidence and improve their skills. Tutoring also strengthened my communication and leadership abilities, as I had to adapt explanations to suit different learning styles. Overall, it was a great way to give back and foster a supportive learning environment.
