About Somara
I am a Washington State University graduate! I have my Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical and Medical Sciences. During my 4-year degree, I have been a resident advisor, a student senator and a hall ambassador. Throughout these experiences and opportunities, I have had the abilities to make impacts on students. As a resident advisor specifically, I have tutored students of many different ages and backgrounds as well as direct them to appropriate resources for further help. I understand what it is like to not understand STEM material, trust me, organic chemistry was no fun, however, I was able to figure it out through my own tutors, and now I would like to extend my services to you!

As a student/graduate, I had taken many opportunities to teach and mentor students in different subjects. A lesson plan consists of getting to know you as the student and what the struggle areas are in the subject, then as a tutor, I will specifically target the struggle areas as well as help integrate them with what you already understand to make the integration of struggle material easier. I believe that every student can learn and become an expert in their material.
