About Emily
Hi, my name is Emily, im 24, from the US, and have over 8 years of competitive dance experience, and four years of teaching experience. I have taught ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, as well as heels and burlesque. I think dance can be very therapeutic and I aim to create a space that allows you to feel free in your expression.
Side note: I love dogs, and have a blue heeler mix named Frankie. I am recently getting into kitesurfing, scuba and free diving, and bachata dance classes. And I love bats!

In my courses we will first identify our goals, as well as our pattern of learning. Each class will then be tailored to your specific style, and as we progress, new elements will be introduced; in order to be a well rounded dancer, we must take from many different styles. We will play with musicality, character and various modes of expression, all while working towards our goals, which always transform throughout our many classes. I am here to give you confidence, be a support system and help you succeed!
