About Elisa

Ciao! I'm Elisa, a native Italian speaker who grew up between Italy and the UK, giving me a strong understanding of both languages and cultures. I'm currently studying at university in the Netherlands, and alongside my studies I've developed several years of experience working with young people through tutoring and mentoring.

I enjoy creating a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

My lessons are tailored to each individual, combining structure with interactive activities to make learning enjoyable and effective. Whether you're a complete beginner or preparing for IB Italian exams, I'm committed to helping you build confidence and achieve your goals. At the end of the day, I'm not so different from you, I fully understand the pressure of studying hard for an exam!

About the lesson

Ciao! I'm a native Italian speaker with C2-level proficiency and a real passion for helping others learn my language. Whether you're starting from scratch, preparing for exams, or simply looking to improve your confidence in speaking Italian, I'd love to help you achieve your goals.

I believe the best way to learn a language is by enjoying the process. That's why I create engaging, interactive lessons that are tailored to each student. I use a variety of activities, including language games and adapted board games, to make learning fun while strengthening vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills. Every lesson is designed around your individual learning style, pace, and objectives.

I have experience teaching students aged 6 to 18, working with complete beginners as well as more advanced learners. I also have experience tutoring International Baccalaureate (IB) Italian at both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL), helping students prepare for exams, improve their writing and speaking skills, and build confidence in the language.

Lessons are one hour long and suitable for children, teenagers, and adults of all abilities. Whether you're learning Italian for school, travel, work, or simply for the love of the language, I'll provide a friendly, supportive environment where you can feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and progressing at your own pace.
