About Shikha Singh

I believe I can be a good choice as a tutor because I have been teaching students since I was in Class 10 and have gained several years of practical teaching experience. I have mainly taught Mathematics to school students through individual tuition as well as batches. During this time, I have learned that every student has a different level of understanding and a different way of learning. My approach is not just to complete the syllabus, but to make sure that the student understands the concept properly and can apply it independently.
Mathematics can sometimes feel difficult to students because they may hesitate to ask questions or may not understand where exactly they are making a mistake. Since I have been teaching for several years, I have experience in identifying these difficulties and explaining the same concept in different and simpler ways until the student understands it. I also believe in creating a comfortable environment where students can ask even their smallest doubts without feeling embarrassed or afraid.
I have also taught my own brothers and sisters, which has helped me understand students more closely. Because I know them personally, I have seen the different types of doubts, mistakes, and learning difficulties that children can have. This experience has taught me to be patient and to understand the student's perspective instead of simply expecting them to understand everything immediately.
Along with Mathematics, I have also been teaching dance, which has further developed my communication skills, patience, and ability to explain things step by step. I enjoy teaching and genuinely like helping students improve. I am willing to give individual attention, regularly revise topics, clear doubts, provide practice questions, and focus on the areas where a student needs the most improvement.
With my teaching experience since Class 10 and my strong focus on Mathematics, I am confident that I can help students improve not only their marks but also their concepts and confidence. My goal as a tutor is to make learning easier, more understandable, and less stressful for students. I will always try to understand the student's individual needs and give my best effort to help them achieve their academic goals.
