About Kirk
Former member of the US Army band, retired Music Director of the Rappahannock Pops orchestra. I have been teaching piano for 35 years. My students have gone on to college and won competitions. I accommodate each students particular needs.

I always put particular attention on rhythm. My experience as a piano player, trumpet player and conductor is that once the rhythm is fixed the notes follow, not the other way around. Works 90% of the time. Key word teacher also.
