About Ana-Maria
I completed my Master’s in AI and my Bachelor’s in Computer Science at the University of Bucharest. I worked for one year as an intern in Cloud and Market Technology Operations, and then for 1.5 years as a junior at the London Stock Exchange Group. In my role as a junior quant risk analyst, I worked on data analysis, validating mathematical models, and testing the algorithms used to calculate financial risk. I worked with large datasets, identified errors, validated results, and improved calculation processes. All of this experience shapes the way I teach AI and data science: structured, logical, and focused on understanding algorithms.
I am currently looking for a job as a Machine Learning/AI engineer and have taken a short break from Finance. In the meantime, I offer tutoring because I’m genuinely passionate about teaching, and it’s an experience I truly enjoy.

I adapt quickly to any level of knowledge in Computer Science and AI (beginner/intermediate, high school/university). I start from the student’s current level and explain everything step by step, adjusting the pace and difficulty to their needs.
Lessons can take place either at my home or online.
For students preparing for exams, evaluations, or competitions, I focus first on the topics that require more attention in order to achieve the highest possible score. I can also tailor lessons based on the AI domains that interest the student most (Supervised/Unsupervised/Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, etc.) and go deeper into those areas upon request.
I provide tips & tricks for learning faster and understanding the material more easily. I use visual, practical, interactive examples that are easy to remember! For those who are new to Python or programming, I start with Python basics—syntax and logic—then gradually move toward AI topics. Lessons include both theory and hands-on coding. It’s important that the student also practices Python at home to reinforce the concepts!
