About Carolyn
Before getting my math degree, I worked as a social worker for young people labeled “juvenile delinquents“. I recognized that these young people needed something in their lives to give them encouragement, and I knew education would help them. It was then that I decided to pursue a degree as a high school teacher. I chose math because I always did well in math and I enjoyed it. I also knew that it would open many doors for the young people I taught.

I have always enjoyed helping students learn math. Before I was hired as a paid tutor, while getting my math degree, I would go to the math tutor center, and help students with their math problems. I did it for free. Ireally enjoy helping students with their math.
