About Dylan

From 2017 to the present day, I have been guiding students through the depths of the Spanish language. My Bachelors degree in Business and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin has helped me a lot in my teaching journey.

I have lived in Malaga, Madrid, Salamanca, Sevilla, Barcelona and also in a yoga retreat centre in Andalusia. I have also travelled extensively through Latin America. Languages, music, food and travel are my key passions in life. I love to explore new cultures and meet people from around the world.

I genuinely love to teach others and I believe this passion spreads to students in my classes as I only receive positive feedback.

About the lesson

Learning a language is a deeply rewarding and exciting experience. Once you can speak a specific tongue, you can then dive into the related culture in a way that non-speakers can only dream of.

Spanish is an excellent language to learn, given that there are 486 million native speakers around the globe. You can travel to the jungles and temples of Guatemala and tap into the culture there in an authentic way. You can dance to Cumbia and eat arepas in Colombia, while forming bonds with locals. I want to help you learn Spanish so all of this can become available to you. Learning Spanish opens your eyes to an entire culture and people.

Grammar is the scaffolding of speaking a language. Without it, the structure falls down. I like to prioritise grammar for my students but I also love to encourage reading and comprehension exercises. By reading topics in Spanish, the students can analyse text, pick out key vocabulary and boost their command of the language.

From 2017 to the present day, I have been guiding students through the depths of the Spanish language. My Bachelors degree in Business and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin has helped me a lot in my teaching journey.

My lessons are primarily for beginners and intermediate speakers but I also welcome messages from advanced speakers.

Each lesson is between 30 and 50 minutes long.ç
