I have been a licensed professional teacher for approximately five years, and I have also taught for two years after graduation without a license. After the discussion and provided materials, I usually let my students demonstrate or do hands-on activities to help them learn on their own, sometimes self-paced or guided. Then the student will share his/her outputs, and altogether, we will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of his/her responses. I easily deal with students in grades 7 to 10, but I also experienced tutoring grades 3-6.
