About Olivia

My name is Olivia, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I currently work as a Process Engineer at a medical device company. During my time in college, I served as a Teaching Assistant for two years in the introductory engineering lab, where I supported freshman students in developing their technical skills. In high school, I tutored middle school students in algebra and geometry, helping them build a strong foundation in mathematics. In addition to my academic and professional experience, I was actively involved in FIRST Robotics throughout high school and now volunteer within the organization to help inspire and mentor the next generation of engineers. Outside of my professional and volunteer work, I enjoy running, reading, and baking.

About the lesson

I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—after all, that's where real learning happens!
