About Federico

Hi, I'm Federico, I graduated from the two-year specialization course in Jazz Guitar at the Conservatory of Pavia "F.Vittadini" with full marks and honors.

I am a guitar and music teacher.

Harmony is a very fascinating subject that can be difficult in the first approaches if not taught with the right method. I was lucky enough to study with the greatest Italian jazz teachers, first at the Civica Jazz in Milan, then deepening my studies at the Pavia Conservatory.

I have a Youtube channel followed where I have dealt with 50 Harmonic analyzes of the most famous Jazz standards. I can say that the study of Harmony and Harmonic Analysis of songs is an important practice to improve our path as musicians, and / or even if ours is just a passion to understand Music more.

About the lesson

I propose Modern Harmony lessons from Jazz to Pop, for those approaching the subject, for those who want to deepen it, for the conservatory student who needs private repetitions to pass exams and / or address gaps (with the right time and tranquility) and for those who need to carry out admissions to the conservatory in the departments of Jazz, Pop & Modern Music (in general)

We will learn everything about harmony: intervals, chord construction, understanding major and minor harmony, the main harmonic cadences from classical to modern music, the most used harmonic turns, the most common chord substitutions, interchange modal, the most common forms: Blues, Turn Around, Standards Jazz, Pop music etc.

We will face the study of Harmony through appropriate methods and in-depth analysis of some pieces that we will choose together according to your needs and preferences.

I am very patient and willing to tackle difficult topics in a simple and fun way.
