About Harold

I set a goal for myself to skillfully handle the English language orally without prejudice to pursuing mastery in writing. I also respond to the call to develop communicative skills in the English language for those advised and / or students. I use the theories of language, learning and second language teaching to reflect on the teaching-learning task and apply them in a given context. I promote respect for the cultural identity values that underlie the foreign language without detriment to the values of the local culture itself. I embrace, adapt, and aspire to create new teaching techniques consistent with advances in linguistics, applied linguistics, learning theories, and available technology. I manage the learning processes in order to promote changes and provoke successful innovations with the support of ICTs. I consider it convenient to be updating myself and contribute to the advancement of disciplinary and pedagogical knowledge of significant investigative processes. I develop and implement assessment techniques that allow to assess & improve the English learning process. And I promote reflection on the social, cultural, political and economic context of the country, as well as the building of values in the formation of integral, peaceful, honest individuals and willing to expand their mental borders and connect to a global citizenship.

On a succinct but enriching academic and research base and thanks to life experience as a son, brother and father, I enjoy a differentiating and relevant personal and professional ethics in the implementation of some edifying values and social skills to maintain cordial relationships, teamwork with loyalty, dynamism and commitment to innovation and leadership. Likewise, ability to adopt / adapt, formulate and develop didactic units and communication strategies towards the achievement of certain objectives both in basic, secondary and higher education that the diploma in university teaching empowers me. I have extensive typing skills with office software (Word, Excel & PowerPoint); in maintenance and repair to Windows, Linux & Android operating systems; skills in video editing and projection of creative audiovisual content (PowerDirector & PowToon) to name a few.

About the lesson

The development of our classes presents a holistic and pertinent methodology with the primary needs of the learner in tune with the basic learning rights. We have a didactic carpentry that diagnoses, listens, evaluates, diagnoses, designs and preliminarily plans meetings where together with the apprentices we will promote enjoyable, creative and communicative learning environments to achieve our objectives.
