About Sachi

I have been a tutor in the past with multiple students and while working on my own studies. I have also tutored high school students in math and SAT prep. I understand people have different approaches to their work and try to tailor my help based on that.

Personalized Learning: Every student learns differently. I adapt my methods based on their strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning style. This includes offering visual aids, real-life examples, interactive exercises, or breaking down complex concepts into smaller, manageable parts.
Test Prep Strategy: For students preparing for college, I provide focused test prep for standardized tests (like the SAT or ACT) by teaching strategies for time management, analyzing practice tests, and covering test-specific content.
Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes):
We begin by reviewing material from previous lessons and clarifying any misunderstandings. This could involve discussing homework, answering questions, or reviewing key concepts.
Guided Practice (15-20 minutes):
Students work through problems or questions with my guidance. I ask probing questions to help them think critically, providing hints or alternative methods when needed. This part helps reinforce the material.
