I graduated from Wuhan Conservatory of Music. Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Music Performance at the University of Sheffield. I have been a piano teacher for five years and have extensive experience in the Royal Academy of Music examinations. I am also very patient with children and good at communication.

About the lesson

classical music，The main textbooks I used were Bastian and Feiber, as well as Thompson. I am very patient with children and good at communication. Please trust my abilities. I will do my best to keep the children interested in the piano and enable them to acquire knowledge through playing.

Emily performed extremely well in this lesson! Her hand shape has improved a lot compared to the previous class, and she practiced her homework very thoroughly. She also has a great musical sense and a very good sense of rhythm — truly excellent!
For this week’s practice, we just need to pay attention to the following:
Relax the shoulders.
Sing while playing.
Lift the fingers before pressing down.
Use the fingertips to play.
This time, there are five pieces in total plus one finger exercise (in the white workbook). Each time, I hope Emily can first practice the finger exercise and then practice the pieces.

Alina did an excellent job. She was very focused in class, and she understood the key points I explained extremely well. She also practices very diligently and sends me feedback videos every week.
The only thing we need to pay attention to during practice is her hand shape — she should play with her fingertips and be mindful of proper fingering.
