I have taught in a private elementary school for the past 15 years. The school consistently scored 1-2 grade levels above the average in the SAT test. I have experience with a wide range of grades, from preschool to middle school. While structure is important to learning I firmly believe that learning should also be fun and engaging.

In the elementary levels music, movement and object lessons are a few great ways to foster learning.
Tutoring times will begin with reviewing previously learned material. (Review games are key during this portion of the tutoring session.) Next, new material will be taught and students will be encouraged to practice the new concept.
