About Domitille

I graduated from an international baccalaureate in American OIB with a very good mention which certifies my bilingual level in English. I spent part of my high school years in an American high school near Seattle. In September I enter the English LLCER Master to become an English teacher in high school or in prep class. I am very involved in my university experience, I am part of a research project on a medieval manuscript, and I co-founded a book club.

About the lesson

I use the student's lessons, grades, teachers' comments. I adapt as much as possible to the profile of the student, I listen to his needs, his doubts, his motivations. I also like helping students to outdo themselves if they already have strong bases in English. My courses are for medium high school and high school students, I can prepare for the bac (oral exams, in particular). My little bonus is surely my desire to work with modern media such as articles from the New York Times, The Guardian, BBC podcasts and even extracts from films and series. The sessions will systematically contain mini-debates, discussions entirely in English, oral comprehensions, and necessary grammar rules. I give vocabulary, idioms and written expressions from one course to another, which I correct for the next class to consider with the student the possible mistakes.
