Consistency is more important than studying for many hours at once. Studying 2–3 focused hours every day is usually more effective than studying 8–10 hours only occasionally.
Read the chapter first to understand the main idea.
Learn the important terms and definitions, such as scientific names and biological terminology.
Understand diagrams (heart, kidney, cell, digestive system, animal anatomy, etc.) and practice drawing and labeling them.
Make short notes with key points, tables, and flowcharts.
Revise regularly—review the chapter within 24 hours, then after a few days, and again after a week.
Practice questions, including previous exam papers, MCQs, and short- and long-answer questions.
Study actively by explaining the topic in your own words or teaching it to someone else. If you can't explain it simply, review it again.
Use mnemonics for classifications, taxonomic groups, cranial nerves, or other lists that require memorization
