Teaching methodology: I focus on conversation based teaching. Each class or set of classes would focus on a certain topic (usually something that the students find interesting/ practical in daily life) I find this not only drastically improves their speaking skills but also helps them find links and enriches their vocabulary. Boldly speaking, students will always learn something new in each class.
Qualifications/experience:Unfortunately, I do not hold a teaching certificate for Chinese. I have a TESOL certificate which is isn't targeted for Chinese but the main ideas on how to teach a foreign language remain coherent. During my time in China, I have taught several students both online and in-person and have had referrals back to me.
Who are my lessons for?: My lessons are for students that have already have a certain grasp on the language (beginner level). Although, I have previously taught young kids that had no prior interaction with the language to a point where they could have conversations.
