About George

I’m a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and music obsessive who’s been making and performing music for years — from bands and collaborations across the industry to building a loyal audience of over 60,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. My track “Throw The Dog A Bone” has reached over 2 million streams, and I’ve been lucky enough to connect with listeners all over the world through honest songwriting and memorable melodies.
Inspired by everything from 2000s indie rock and to indie pop, bedroom pop, and acoustic folk, I bring a creative, relaxed, and personal approach to teaching guitar. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time, learning your favourite songs, or wanting to write your own music, my goal is to make lessons fun, inspiring, and completely tailored to you.
For me, music has always been everything to me— it’s where I feel most myself. I want my students to experience that same confidence, creativity, and excitement when they play. No pressure, no boring lessons — just good music, good vibes, and helping you become the musician you want to be.

About the lesson

I offer one-to-one guitar and songwriting lessons for students of all ages and abilities, both in person and online via Zoom. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up an instrument for the first time, an intermediate player looking to improve your technique, or an experienced musician wanting to develop your songwriting and musical understanding, lessons are tailored specifically to you.
My approach to teaching is simple: every student is different. I believe people learn best when they're engaged, inspired, and enjoying the process. That's why I build every lesson around your goals, interests, and the music you love.
Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, master a particular guitar solo, improve your improvisation, write original music, or gain a deeper understanding of music theory, I will create lessons that help you achieve your goals while keeping the experience enjoyable and rewarding.

In-Person Lessons face-to-face lessons provide a focused and engaging learning environment where we can work closely on technique, performance and musical development. £30 per hour, per person. Online Lessons (Zoom) Online lessons offer the same personalised experience with the flexibility of learning from your own home. £30 per hour, per person. Block bookings: 15% discount on your first lesson. 5 lessons- £135 8 lessons- £225 10 lessons £285 (lessons after time expired will be £30).
