About Camila

Improvisation, lead guitar, and rhythm guitar are the primary tools I use to help you sound great. Sometimes I forget how difficult it was to learn my first set of chords as a beginner. I earned a Bachelor of Music in Popular Music from the University of Southern California to formalize my skills.

Since then, I have spent 12 years teaching students ranging from absolute beginners to working professionals. Many of my students are self-taught players who finally want some real structure. I have taught hundreds of people how to handle gear maintenance and read complex tabs. I currently split my time between performing gigs in Austin and helping you get your music ready for the stage.

About the lesson

Since we just started, let us run through a quick diagnostic skills check to build your unique plan. I focus on making sure your acoustic technique is solid before we move into scales or modes. Because I have 12 years of experience under my belt, I can spot technical gaps immediately.

We will prioritize ear training so you can actually hear what you are playing. Whether you want to master a specific solo or just get your transitions smooth, I am here to help. Get ready to sound like a pro at your next party.
