John was a really great guitar teacher. He taught me from complete beginner and was always patient with me. He tailored it all around songs I really liked, and taught the theory parts in creative ways to help me remember things, which made it all really fun. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been learning with John for a few months now along with my 9 year old son Alfie. John is a brilliant person to learn with, lessons are fun, easy to understand and relaxed, and John knows his stuff. John’s approach to teaching is that it should be fun and enjoyable which works perfectly for us. He’s patient and enjoys what he does which is what makes the lessons so good. Would highly recommend!
