About Lela
I have spent 3 years teaching 136 students how to connect deeply with their instruments. The smell of fresh rosewood on a guitar neck still reminds me why I started this path as a musician.
My degree from Berklee College of Music provides the backbone for my lessons, but my 3 years of teaching experience help me explain things simply. I keep a patient tone while we work through blues progressions or complex lead guitar parts to ensure you feel supported. I am known as the songwriter's guitar coach because I love seeing you build your own sound. Keep playing and stay inspired until our next session.

I admit that I prioritize your individual songwriting voice over rigid memorization of scales. We focus on tuning and maintenance first so your instrument always sounds its best. You will practice strumming patterns and reading tabs to gain real independence. Monthly recorded review of progress helps you see how far your technique has come over time.
We look at music theory not as a chore but as a tool for better songwriting. I demonstrate chord transitions so you can move smoothly between keys.
My approach remains practical for every student regardless of their starting point. Blues progressions offer us a great way to talk about improvisation and feel. You will learn to navigate the fretboard with intent and confidence. We keep the momentum going by applying every new skill to a song you want to play.
