About Willow
Giving students a map through chord transitions is my main priority. To be honest, I sometimes forget how complex music theory can seem to a beginner. My 13 years playing old-time festivals informs everything I demonstrate. I use my 8 years of experience to break down electric technique and power chords.
I have taught 232 students how to navigate the fretboard with confidence. My path was entirely self-taught, which keeps my instruction practical and direct.
We focus on real blues progressions and consistent tuning habits. I enjoy showing people how to write songs without getting stuck in the weeds. My philosophy is pretty straightforward.
