About Stevie
Spending 9 years in my Chicago studio means I have seen every struggle with blues progressions and improvisation. I hold a degree from Berklee where I refined my electric technique and acoustic technique. My approach keeps things loose but structured underneath because I prioritize building clean technique through the songs you actually want to play.

Getting to the point where you can play your favorite tracks happens by turning complex songs into simplified arrangements that match your current ability level. Since I emphasize pentatonics and blues shapes before theory, you will be improvising from day 1 while utilizing the 10.0 scale of focus I provide for every single student.
Because I am a Berklee graduate, I make sure the theory behind why songs work is always present but never overwhelming during our time together. We spend our time applying these concepts to Hendrix or John Mayer styles to ensure the techniques stick permanently.
