About Catrina
Teaching music is how I share my curiosity for the craft. I spent 13 years helping 332 students find their sound.
My lessons cover power chords, acoustic technique, reading tabs, reading sheet music, strumming patterns, songwriting, chord transitions, and tuning and maintenance. I enjoy watching a student finally master a difficult chord change. It is satisfying work.

The smell of fresh guitar strings starts our time. My approach centers on steady feedback and clear pacing. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from Berklee College of Music. I use that training to keep our goals grounded.
Technical precision matters. It is rewarding to hear a student play a piece with confidence. I genuinely enjoy the process.
