About David
I became interested in teaching guitar because every student is a new challenge. Since starting my guitar teaching career my own playing as improved. Getting feedback from a student who was able to perform for friends and family, and seeing their growth in confidence is very rewarding. Also the thought that better and well educated guitarists will hopefully continue or improve my guitar teaching methods is a driving goal for me.

Lessons are structured according to the student's needs. From learning songs, to reading and writing music. As well as improvising and theory. Length of lessons can be from 30 minutes to more than one hour. PDF files are provided to students from songs to worksheets that cover exercises and music theory. After teaching for more than 10 years, I realise that no student is the same. I like to encourage all my students to learn fingerpicking and playing with a pick (strumming), however this is not obligatory. Students of all ages are welcome, however young students should be accompanied by an adult. Lessons are online only.
