About Jaclyn

I’m a guitarist and tutor with a background in playing live and working within band settings, and I bring that real-world experience into every lesson I teach.

A lot of what I focus on comes from actually being on stage and in rehearsal rooms—tight timing, solid technique, playing with feel, and knowing how to lock in with other musicians. I keep lessons practical and music-first, usually building things around songs people actually want to play while making sure the fundamentals are really solid underneath it all.

I don’t overcomplicate things. My approach is straightforward: make you a better, more confident player in a way that actually translates to real playing situations—whether that’s jamming with friends, writing your own stuff, or playing live.

Lessons are relaxed but focused, and you’ll always leave knowing exactly what to work on next so you can keep progressing between sessions without guessing.

At the end of the day, I want you to feel like you can pick up a guitar and hold your own in any musical setting.

About the lesson

My teaching style is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals! I combine foundational technique with practical, song-based learning so students stay motivated while building real skill.

I focus on:

-Strong fundamentals (chords, rhythm, timing, finger placement)
-Ear training and musical understanding—not just memorization
-Learning through real songs students enjoy
-Step-by-step breakdowns of complex techniques
-Building confidence through repetition and progression
