About Jessica

I have a maths degree from Chester University, alongside a PGCE with QTS.

In my current role I am lead practitioner. This means I am responsible for quality assuring the teaching and learning of all teachers across the school. I am regularly researching or attending training on teaching.

I am an examiner for two GCSE exam boards as well as KS2 so have good experience with exam content and how mark schemes are applied.

About the lesson

I am happy to tutor either Maths or Statistics, but am also happy to help with SATs preparation or the 11+ exam.

Calm and patient approach to tutoring and more than happy to adapt approach depending on needs of student.

Sessions will be planned and resourced to meet the specific needs of each student and will be adjusted week on week to meet their needs and make the most progress.

I can be flexible with timings and arrangement of sessions to meet the needs of the student.
