About Stephanie
I have been teaching in the inner city for the past 30 years. I have taught grade 1 through 7 but most of my years have been spent teaching students in grades 1 and 2. I enjoy watching students learn and find their aha moments. Outside of teaching, I am a wife, mother of 3 boys and 1 daughter-in-law. I have 3 dogs and love to spend my time reading or hanging out with my family.

I believe in modifying lessons to the students needs. Learning should be fun and not stressful. I begin tutoring with what the student knows, we work into what we are learning, we practice the skill and then the student will work on problems on their own to show mastery of the lesson.
