About Patrick
You will start your first session by exploring the natural resonance of your voice through a few simple, intentional warm-up exercises. I guide you through the complexities of vocal health and care so that you develop a sustainable practice. We spend time on specific technical elements like pitch control and range extension while keeping the focus on your individual progress.
Because I have 8 years of experience, I am comfortable adapting to the needs of complete beginners or those preparing for advanced examinations. We will look at how your body supports your breath to create a beautiful, consistent sound. I provide free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes for you to use between our sessions. You might find that your voice requires a balance of technical rigor and gentle encouragement to truly resonate. Having studied at the Schulich School of Music and the Conservatoire de Montréal, I bring a formal background to my work with teens, beginners, and performance-focused students. I teach everything from sight singing and pitch control to the specifics of belting technique and head and chest voice. Because my own training spans music and letters, I view vocal health as an essential component of artistic longevity.
