About Laurinha
My intention is to make Spanish learning more fun and achievable to people, helping people to achieve their maximum potential (just like I did with my friends during my GCSE season). I can understand and appreciate how stressful GCSE season can be with having to revise and learn content for all your subjects and I would be happy to take pressure off at least one subject.

I am an A-level student with a strong background in Spanish, having achieved a Grade 8 at GCSE in 2025. As I completed my GCSEs recently, I have a fresh understanding of the current curriculum, exam structure and the areas students may find challenging. This means I can explain topics in a way that feels relatable and easy to understand, rather than overly complicated.
When teaching GCSE Spanish, I would focus on building confidence across speaking, listening, reading and writing, while also helping students develop their vocabulary, grammar and exam technique. I would tailor each session to the individual student, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement and creating engaging activities around these.
I am a friendly, patient and approachable person, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning. I would aim to make Spanish enjoyable and encourage students to become more confident in using the language independently. As an A-level student myself, I understand the pressures of studying and exams and can provide supportive, relatable guidance.
