About Rafael
I've tutored middle school students in algebra for two years. I've also worked as a college teaching assistant for organic chemistry lab for three years, during which I instructed and supervised experiments. I've learned to always make an effort to structure my lessons around the student's level and needs. Communication between student and instructor is most important for efficient teaching, which is what I strive for.

Zoom meetings preferred. Lessons are intended for middle school and high school students taking algebra or pre-calculus. I'll have you read your questions aloud, and I'll write them down on my shared screen. Then I'll work through them with you, so you'll have both a visual and oral guide. I'll also employ the use of graphing software to demonstrate concepts related to systems of equations. In-person lessons must be done at my local library.
